You think David Brooks represents the perception of anyone other than a very narrow range of citizens?

The stupidity of this opening statement is all you need to read to ignore the rest: “ Trumpism… is primarily about the acquisition of power — power for its own sake. It is a multifront assault to make the earth a playground for ruthless men….”

Citizens are safer in their communities. They understand the process of righting decades of wrong take time. My only hope is Trump is up to finishing what he started and doesn’t let his thin skin and habit of “being the worst winner” take over. He can’t pick fights with those he’s beaten.
