I post some things for information. I post some things for humor. I post some things just to make someone think. If that distresses you, perhaps you should learn the difference between the three.

 As I said, nobody is going to lose any sleep over this.  


He's still an elected guilty felon. There is no "precedent" for that. Period.

 We still can't change laws or how they are applied to an individualized standard because of that.  I'm not a fan of the SCOTUS ruling in regard to sitting or previous POTUS being given certain legal immunities, but I'm not going to go make up new ways to apply the law because I disagree with it.


Unrelated question: Why wasn't JOG's first post on this thread deleted outright for breaking the rules?  

 That's not the historical response on this forum.  Typically the thread is just locked, and enforcement is inconsistent.

And of course it all depends on which side of the fence you are on.

Some people, (on one side of the fence) are ALOUD to make ANY statement they want, to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
Using  ANY  kind of vulgar, demeaning, things or phrases.

Many people, (on the other side of the fence), get the ‘LOCK’ !

 I think some members (some members meaning all other members besides me) forget people PM on here regularly.  I have more PM discussions here than conversations on the open forum, mostly because they don't want to deal with all the whining, or "immature" comments.

 I do not know for sure, but I imagine most of the "LOCK"s are pm complaint driven.  I do not know this for sure.  To be clear this is not something I would know.
