The only problem I have is a lot of articles/arguments are acting like the DSA is enforceable in the US. It's not. It is enforceable to companies outside Europe, but only if the product is used in Europe - and does not require the restrictions be used anywhere else.

China greatly restricts internet activity. Is that also censoring American speech?

This of course does not mean US companies can't choose to employ European restrictions on that Company's private property that we as US citizens choose to use.

So from an EU standpoint, they see it as the US infringing on their rights and governance. For instance if the DSA restricts dark patterns that has caused billions, yes billions, of children to be taken advantage of though interface design - and a parent in the EU wants this protection - why should US based platforms be allowed to use dark patterns in the EU?

From their point of view they don't need American laws over there.

harassing judges that rule against his illegal policies
prosecutors and FBI agents that investigate his actions
anyone that disagrees with him
btw Russia did interfere in the 2016 elections if it didn't, he wouldn't be trying to prosecute those that proved it
