Rev Limiter

Does the Savage have an actual rev limiter built into the CDI (TCI technically)?  If so, what RPM level?

I think you've really got to work hard to get valve float.  I don't think I've ever done it
Accelerating basically just don't increase any more until you shift
You'll get bored before you get float
I suppose you could over rev by downshifting several gears at one time at full throttle
Not recommended Huh

Even a rev limiter wouldn't help in that situation.

My rev limit is when the engine 1) stops making power, 2) feels like the engine will buzz out of the frame - both happen at the same time.

Y’all are funny!  Basically, the TCI doesn’t give a crap.

When the engine pull begins to drop off.....it is time to shift.

Works all the way up to the highest gear - then it just stops pulling when you reach the terminal velocity.

Those with modified engines can pull a bit harder and a bit longer than those with stock engines. Wink
