I was away for the weekend attending a nieces graduation party....so a slow response was the result.
The stock headlight is pretty marginal if you ride at night, and also doesn't provide much help in letting cars see you coming in the daytime. The headlight is small and the filament bulb shines with a color that isn't all that visible in daylight.
You can upgrade to an LED pretty easily - that helps some.

http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1458860497Somebody once made a bracket that could be used on the Suzuki Maurader to mount a center bolt headlight like Harley uses. The issue I had with it was that it offset the headlight forward several inches and I didn't like the look of the headlight sticking out so far.
I made a conversion kit for a few years and interest was OK for a while, and Armen even made the center mounts for me that were very affordable - then when he was no longer able to make the mounts the cost of getting a commercial fabricator was excessive and I stopped making the kits.
http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1495732822I still have one headlight bucket that has the wiring converted and I would need to make the bracket by hand......or I have provided the dimensions is you want to have the adapter bracket made for you by someone handy with shaping aluminum.

http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1502309868I will look and see - but I might gave enough parts to make one more kit available if you want one. I would have to build the adapter by hand.
