 We were tasked with making cartoons for an art class when I was in middle school.  The US had just been through or was going through Desert Storm / Gulf War.

 I remember thinking as a kid that it was weird that we (The US) went to go help a country and that people there would burn the US flag.  My kid-brain had yet to understand the differences in culture and thought that the Kuwaiti people were burning the US flag.  (Some were actually)

 So my cartoon was two guys sitting by a pile of rice bags with the big US flags printed on them.  I had seen those loaded onto planes on TV.  (I think a the time I thought they were beans though.)  One guy was saying to the other: "Those crazy Americans think of everything.  Free food, and a flag to burn!"  

 Or something close to that.  Maybe it was longer, like "Those crazy Americans think of everything.  Free food and a flag printed on the bag so we can burn it!"

I think the trick is to realize that people in Gaza are just people like you and me, and that no one likes being starved to death.

 I doubt I would parade women around and murder them because I am starving then set up shop inside a hospital.  I would do that if I were actually attacking their religion and blaming it on food.


Eating out isn't fun either when literally all your buildings and homes in your country are being bombed to pieces and the streets are being bulldozed.
And when you haven't eaten for three days and you're being shot at at the food distribution point, that doesn't exactly make you happy either.

 Agreed, yet this wasn't what was happening before an elaborate planned assault and hostages taken.  If I kill my neighbors kids because I am starving should I expect my neighbor to do something when I try to go get food?


I was thinking about posting a terrorist action here, by posting photos of starved women and children in Gaza, alongside photos from the extermination camps from World War II.

 WW2 has nothing to do with this.  If the US was out killing every Japanese person we could today because of their religion, how much sense would it make for us to keep pointing at Pearl Harbor?  


 If Israel started feeding humans in Gaza tomorrow, then attacks from Gaza would come from well-fed humans.  Hamas and Palestine need to eradicate Israel, and the US, rapidly and long-term, that's the only solution for them.  Or they can let Jews live, but I don't think that's an option for them.
