A clear difference

Given the number of people who are still reacting to the assassination of Charlie Kirk, clearly his impact was far greater than anyone realized. Myself included.

The last stuff that bothered me was the image of Alzheimer’s victim Gene Hackman stumbling around his house in a permanent daze. I kept thinking he probably saw his wife’s body on the floor and then went to call somebody but forgot by the time he got there, or didn’t even remember how to use the phone. That was disturbing. The one before that was motocross star Marty Smith and his wife being killed in a dude buggy accident. When I first got into motorcycle racing, Marty Smith was the guy.

Since those events, plenty of people killed accidentally or shot on purpose.

But for whatever reason, this Charlie Kirk killing has got me and won’t let me go.

But it’s also worth noting that zero riots have happened despite hm being killed because of his social and political beliefs.

There’s a lot of things that left should really take a close look at themselves over but that might be one of the biggest ones.

Debating is a sport in many countries. It should be unthinkable to shoot someone dead for their words. Charlie Kirk challenged the woke mindset and exposed hypocrisy.

Of course, you can disagree with him. Of course, it can be uncomfortable when your views are challenged. But that’s the very point of debate,  that’s the sport of it.

What is truly disturbing is that some people actually applaud his death. That shows how immature and toxic public discourse has become. A moment’s anger is no excuse to celebrate violence.

A real solution would be to teach the art of debating in schools. If young people learn how to argue confidently and respectfully, they’ll find strength in words, not in hatred or violence.

Do what you know is right. (you can always use fear as a counselor later)

Our schools struggle to teach, basic, English, math, and science, much less something advanced like debating, but in those schools that have control, sure that would be great to see.

"... Our schools struggle to teach, basic, English, math, and science ..."

Cause the UL, FDS, WOKE, DFI Socialists said:

2+2, could = 3 or 5, depending on how you did it.

You get a TROPHY, for sitting on the bench.

Ben Franklin once said: "If you give up a freedom, for the sake of security, you will have neither".
Which is More TRUE, today, than yesterday.('06, S-40, Stock) well, mostly .

Kirk called for a legal trial for Biden’s apathy towards border control, which cost many American lives, and suggested the death penalty was warranted. I don’t agree with that, as I don’t agree with the death penalty to begin with, but also, I would say Biden's inaction, while unfortunate, could easily be justified as part of his constitutional duties as president.

I’ve lost track of the number of those on the left, who have suggested Trump be executed and I wonder if your empathy would extend toward them if something awful happened.

But my point still stands. There have been no widespread riots over Charlie Kirk’s assassination, despite his tremendous and widespread influence witj the right side of the political spectrum.

The left Side of the political spectrum frequently riots over the death of what could only be described as individuals with questionable legal standing.

Why that is the question you should ask yourself.

He mostly influenced young people. Mostly bad, hateful, stupid, ignorant, anti-democratic rants. He was OK with gun violence. Why is anyone surprised? The MAGATs are desperately trying to spin this, even though he was killed by one of them, obviously to distract the public from the Epstein Files. They created a martyr, or tried to. The real fear among the MAGAT leaders is that THEY are next, and, like revolutions everywhere, the other side is not their problem. The disenfranchised MAGATs are dangerous, and ARE the problem. Deal with the real.

If you still think “he was killed by one of them“ then you really can’t be taken seriously.
