It's obvious that the "liberals" do NOT want to restrict free speech. They just want the speaker to be ACCOUNTABLE for the repercussions of overreaching that right. They want people held liable, for instance, for even IMPLYING that injecting bleach cures Covid, if someone does what you say and dies. It means that if you're a complete idiot on a subject, you should probably not deliver a speech giving advice in that area, because you can be held liable for it. It DOES NOT mean 47 gets a pass for dementia fueled babbling, since he's speaking to other morons (MAGATs) who are too stupid to understand he doesn't know sh*t about science or medicine.

This whole argument is pointless in my opinion.

For every Liberal attack on (Insert Amendment Here) one can pull up a Conservative attack on (Insert Amendment Here) in my opinion. That's what most of this forum is in my opinion. Complaining about something, linking to an internet source, then that's followed up by someone offering a counter internet source, and complaining. This is an opinion.

My opinion is all sides try to leverage things to their advantage. All of them. We do it too in my opinion. This whole "They are worse" concept is nonsense in my opinion. Everyone acts in their own best interest, or identifies with whatever group most closely aligns, in my opinion.
