Bullsh1t math. You buy an apple for $1, and sell it for $50. That IS a 5000% markup. if you LOWER the price to $25, that is a 50% decrease in the price, not a 2500% decrease in the cost.
Agreed which is why I never said it is a 2500% decrease in cost. I am using Trump math - I am saying it is a 2000% decreased in the markup. The bullsh!t here is claiming I said a 2500% decrease in cost.
If the price dropped 2000%, the drug companies would literally be paying you $20 to take the prescription.
Agreed. Which is why the statement is NOT a 2000% drop in price. Nobody said it was except you. It IS a 2000% drop in markup. This is specifically what was being addressed, the pharmaceutical markup limits.
Sarah Huckaby Sanders tried to use the same bullsh1t math when she became governor of Arkansas. First she CUT education funding by 80%. Then, she increased the 20% left by half, and CLAIMED a 50% increase in education funding, saying it was the largest increase in history. The educational funding was still only 30% of what it was.
I literally said this exact same thing here. Unfortunately this is not a reduction in pharmaceutical markup limits. If a markup is 5000%, it can be reduced by 3000% and you as the customer will not get paid to use their product.
Claiming I said there was a 2000% drop in drug prices is a lie. I never said that, I said markup because markup limits were what the reductions were in regard to.
