It’s been about 6 weeks since I rode the tracker. Guess I was a bit rough on that rear wheel , it’s ready to spit the spokes out. Garage is trashed with other projects. Pouring rain today , I have to get a BSA off the table and tracker up to pull rear wheel. My Christmas gift to myself , new rear rim & spokes for the old girl. New tires & tubes here waiting and get caught up on the maintenance. The lithium battery just failed too , can’t even start her. I feel your pain MM. Nobody gonna fix it for me and spring is coming.

Hey MM , That’s a really good looking bike ! Same model I’ve been eyeing but I think it had a different color scheme. Just a sexy retro , RE did a great job with it. Congratulations on that purchase. Now get that hole in your head all healed up. My father used to tell me I had a hole in my head where my brains leaked out when he caught me doing stupid stuff. He may have been right ! Me and stupid stuff go hand in hand with !

I'm not sure Dads were/are always right ... Mine usd to tell me I was "Lazy" because I'd look for the easiest way to complete what ever task he would point me at !
At the same time , I was always proud of myself for finding the easy way ! Wink

Life is already too hard as it is , Thinking Hard is always easier than Working Hard ! Grin

But Dads are always wonderful to have , mine has been gone a little more than 30 years now , but sometimes it seems like just yesterday he was telling me something I still remember.

I hear RE has a 750 version of the 650 engine lurking in R & D. Soon to be , maybe next year ! RE is still expanding its lineup.

I'll have the tank off to do the first Valve clearance check at 600 miles after the NEW wear off and the valves are seated in good ) so I'll put the knee pads and the Tank Bag on then.
