Interesting, New Zealands gun laws were tightened after the Chrischurch mosque killing of 51 and maiming many others, Australias gun laws were tightened years before following a mass shooting in Tasmania, I forget the casualties. In New Zealand some criminal gangs refused to hand over their semi autos despite a police buyback scheme. If you are determined enough you can probably get any gun you want in these countries. New Zealand is considering loosening its gun laws somewhat, but that will no doubt cause widespread debate. It should, however, be noted that killings of this type are far less prevelant in both Australia and NZ than they are in the USA.
