Exactly right.

The name change is merley symbolic. The legal name is still the same as it was before Trump changed the sign.

But Presidents do illegal sh*t all the time. And get away with it. I don't think his name is going to come off the building any earlier than sometime after the 2028 election when a new president will either fix the sign or change it (illegaly) to something else.

By that time, as far as Trump is concerned, it will be "mission accomplished"

I think that sucks, but here we are.
