No kidding.  A lot more people would be dead if it were.

Are you suggesting this officer be tried for first degree murder? Much in the same way as someone who plotted, planned, shot someone who had wronged him, hid the body and conducted a cover up to get away with it? Try him the same as OJ Simpson for example?

I saw him grab his gun to deliberately shoot him. He pulled the trigger multiple times, emptying his gun into him while was trying to prevent injustice by filming with a phone.

That's murder with premeditation.

No, you don’t see that. You see a scuffle with 5 or 6 officers getting a handle on him. Alex moves in a way that his jacket comes up and one officer sees he has a gun. He yells “gun” and grabs it. When hearing gun yelled, another off begins to pull his. Then the first officer is backing out of the fight with the gun in his hand, it fires. Thinking Alex is firing, the officer fires “back” .

This is not murder, there’s nothing premeditated. It was a response in a stressful situation.

So Omar said:

"...   Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., said during a Tuesday press conference that one thing ICE has succeeded in doing is making Minneapolis residents love the police. ..."

Does that mean,
residents were afraid of,
scared of, and  hated,
Police before ?

HONEST people do NOT FEAR Police.

Before the, "HONEST people do NOT FEAR Police" is challenged.
Criminals FEAR Police.
Illegals FEAR Police.
And their are  some,'bad', police.

This isn't a response; it's a clear choice.

First, they created this stressful situation. Second, he had a firearms permit and made no effort to draw his weapon. The situation was entirely created by the ICE staff. And seeing a weapon is not a reason to empty your gun.

Wanting to arrest people because they violated immigration laws is entirely justified.
Excessive force in these cases is only used in self-defense, and that wasn't the case here.
And if you can't stand the heat in the kitchen, you shouldn't work there.

This is murder.

The only thing I would say in your interest that it is not smart to have a gun on you when you are going to bother officers, you know the culture.

Right here is the problem in my opinion.  You did not see that - you just want that to be what happened.  They never shot him with his own gun for instance.  Nobody fired Pretti's gun multiple times.

There is no evidence ICE targeted Alex Pretti for execution - you just want it to be that way so you can say "premeditated murder".

ICE is not trained, nor should they be, for managing group protests.  Properly trained DCT's should.  This is an unfortunate circumstance, however one takes a risk when they choose to engage with armed humans in volitile situations.

And if you can't stand the heat in the kitchen, you shouldn't go to a protest armed.

So in your own words, not mine because I never once said or implied this:  The OBSERVED REALITY portion is "not really real."  This is an opinion based on my Observed Reality.  As such it should not be used as a qualifier for the accuracy of verifiable data - such as the words contained in posts on this forum for instance.

Also:

"... Armed Minneapolis anti-ICE protester Alex Pretti was carrying a popular handgun that has a history of unintentionally firing — leading some gun experts to suggest that the gun might have accidentally discharged after a Border Patrol agent grabbed it from him, causing another agent to open fire, killing him Saturday. ..."

"... people reported the P320 could discharge if the back of the slide struck the ground at a certain angle after it dropped from a minimum height. ..."

"...  The core of the dispute, as summarized in training-focused analysis, is that the controversy centers around allegations of “uncommanded discharges” when the pistol is holstered, dropped, or jostled, not during normal shooting. That same overview of the SIG SAUER P320 controversy frames the debate as a clash between those who see a latent design flaw and those who see a combination of user error and unrealistic expectations of what any striker‑fired handgun can tolerate in rough handling, ..."

Was not there, yet the 'reports' of the incident said/implied/showed,
'Rough Handling"

So, was it the fault of a person going to a,"NOT PEACEFUL" event, with a gun ?
Or a manically fault in the firearm due to it's handling ?
