I converted it to manual operation about a year ago, so "PRI" is now "OFF" on mine.

I don't see a vac port on the Amal anywhere. You'd have to drill & tap the air horn for a petc0ck vacuum barb, but that would be easy,easy.

Reply #19 - 05/22/05 at 14:38:08 I can actually yank the carb without removing the battery box now. I'm hoping a K&N will fit in there, so I don't have to change to a lower battery height. We'll see.

I gained 3mph on the top end (95 now), and it improved the sound of the Screamin'Eagle exhaust quite a bit. Bike is near impossible to stall by quick-handing the clutch now - it just grunts and scoots away.
