The guy who had my bike before me did that, but dumb ass drilled an extra hole for the wires and then used some kind of silicone to hold the turn signals in..

Looks like crap, I am ripping all of that out and replacing the stock with small aluminum LED's and using a very large chrome washer to cover the extra hole,... unless I put the rails on, have to see the look when they get here ::

I'd like pics! I'm such a newbie when it comes to modifying my bike, it would definitely help to see what the masters have done!

'Anyone have trouble fitting saddlebags onto the Savage? I bought moto-pak 90s http://www.motopakluggage.com/gts90.html for touring next spring and, unless I can figure out how to move the back turn signals, I'll be having them hit the backs of my knees the whole trip.

I think it looks sportier and I have no need for a sissybar. It would be kewl if u could convert it into a drivers backrest tho. Torque and I have been pondering the idea for a bit. It would reduce monkey butt syndrome a lot.

Someone here had a chromed low-profile "handle" (for lack of a better word ...) fabricated to replace the stock sissy bar & pad ... looked real good ... I believe there was a discussion on here about it (with pics) and several members were inquiring about the piece ... it was a nice finished piece of work ... wouldn't mind something like that myself ...

Know that one. Home made in Germany, from brass and chromed.
Brass can be reworked more easy than steel I think.
