Which carb?

???
OK I admit it, maybe I'm just having a 'Tinkertoy' attack and want to bolt onto the bike more things than I really need, it's just that...
...I have seen two swell carbs on eBay.it, a brand new Dell'Orto 37mm and a Mikuni TM38 off a competition spec 250 2stroke offroader.
So, question no.1:
Do I really need to change my carb? (I probably do not)
and question no.2:
Which is the better carb, if actually any better than the standard Mikuni40mm.

???

I would stick with the normal carb, I think putting on a different carb would just give you unnecessary trouble.

If you could get it to fit proper and the jets worked out - we used some pretty large jets on premix engines - it should run - may not work real well as the idea is to keep a comp 2stroke "on the pipe" , it's a high and narrow rpm band where the expansion chamber functions - low/mid range? - we don't need no stinking low/mid range.

DUDE!!

Go for the carb...no question.

I would go for the new Dell'Orto 37.......you mentioned before that all of the jets are easily  tuneable on these.
