8)Man you do nice work!! Some of the best I've seen anywhere ... "Working Class" is what choppers and bobbers were originally about ... not the high $$ bling-bling that is so trendy now.
Congrats for carrying the torch ... keep up the great work!

Deadly looking bikes!  But is it just me or does the yellow lettering on a white background freak everybody out?

Steve, nice Savage.
About item no.#'Mini Electronic Tachometer - All Models 60 mm" (the $59.99 one, red line at 6000, max reading 8000) it seems to be just what I need.
Question: it's a straight bolt-on-handlebars, plug-into-coil, correct?

Thanks for all the encouragment guys.
"chop whatcha got" is our motto for a reason
- Back in the day of real choppers - the first time - people did not build these bling-bling bikes and nobodys motor came out of a crate. - it was what you had, it was everyone at home "pimpin' there own ride"
There were very few "chopper shops" - you could not "order" a chopper. I guess that still stands true today. For REAL choppers anyway, I hate seeing these guys at shows bragging about there new custom chopper that cost them 40k and how bad ass it is - the most work they put into it is writing the check, hope you didn't hurt your little hand while writing it out,

I like the fact that you used some jap powerplants instead of the standard 88,93,96 103 etc. c.u  H. D based  v-twin motors that everybody insists on using these days. not that there is anything wrong with that but different is COOL.   My big thing is how do they sound ? Those cb750's are runnin little sob's but I ve never seen one with custom exhaust ; aftermarket but not truly custom.

Guys . . . I love this site.  I completely agree about the whole chopper thing.  Working Class--I asked about a handlebar speedometer in another post and you pointed me to one of yours.  Well, I hate to tell ya, but I went to a salvage yard today and got one for ten bucks.  That's what a chop's all about though, right?  That salvage yard was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.

Me and my roommate are working on an '81 Yamaha 750 right now.  Okay, technically it's not a chopper, but more of a bobber (I haven't learned to weld yet, but I'm working on it).  We tackled the speedo, headlight, handlebars, and grips today.  Next on the list is doing something with all the friggin wiring that was hidden in the headlight, getting new controls, making a new seat, getting rid of the airbox, remounting the ignition, remounting the battery (which is gonna be bloody hard), lowering the rear end, and doing some forward controls.  We also need to change the exhaust but haven't really come up with anything for that yet.  I'll post some pics of the Virago project as soon as I can (well, if any of you care to see it).

Man I love motorcycles . . .

working_class_chop ... I'd proudly wear one of your Working Class Choppers t-shirts ... but I'm a puny 'lil guy ... size Large would be too big! Any plans to offer those terribly cool T's in a "medium"? I'd really love to have one!
Just went to the W.C.C. website and had a closer look at that Custom Savage ... mind blower to be sure! Man that root-beer paint job is awesome and that tank treatment, with the flush idiot lights and mini-speedo ... real clean! Is that a stock LS tank that has been modified?
BTW that Bobbed VLX is uber-cool too!
