dyna muffler

Hey guys I have a question before I experiment with my extra muffler . I plan on taking the divider and catalyst out of this muff so it will be a straight thru design with baffle ? How should I go about this ? Drill it out (with what size bit ) or simply take a piece of rebar and knock it out ?

I don't know how you
should
do it, but I have a Harley riding friend who talks about guys doing the rebar trick. Apparently it works.
