 2010 Triumph Bonneville T-100

I had my 2007 S40 for 2 years and really loved it. I thought I would try 1 more bike as I am 74 and this makes number 10 so I'll probably quit after this one. I have to say that this is the smoothest bike I've ever ridden.

Are you talking about engine or the suspension?

Bill, I am saying that everything about the bike, the way that it shifts, the smoothness  of the engine and the way that it rides and handles.

nice looking bike,It's good to see the Brits can still make a good looking bike, when they want to.
Side by side with Harley the harley would not stand a chance, and costs twice as much.

the harley sportster 883 which is what would compete with the Triumph Bonneville with the about 800 CC engine is actually cheaper than a Triumph, the Triumph still blows the harley out of the water though in performance but you are paying about $1700 more

do the pistons still fire at the same time ? As I recall they used to ,and it caused lots of not so good vibrations.

My owners manual shows 270 degrees for the T-100. It runs smooth as a sewing machine. In fact I've already changed my muffs to Stainless Ride which look the same but have a deep throaty sound as the are straight though. i haven't noticed and big gain in performance but now it dosen't sound like a sewing machine.
