Congrats. I've owned 3 of the new age Triumphs. In my opinion they are the best built motorcycles. I'm sure she will serve you well.

Triumph motors cycles say the Bonny fires at 360,the American at 270 which should be smoother and torquer.

Bill, on page 108 of my 2010 owners manual is reads,
Bonneville                     Bonneville T-100
360 degrees                  270degrees

The manual that came with my '06 says Bonneville, T-100 and Thruxton are all 360, and the America and Speedmaster are 270.  Doesn't list the Scrambler, which I believe is also a 270 degree engine.

Of course, that was when they still had carburetors, not EFI with carbie-looking covers!

And you're preaching to the choir about the Bonnie!

I've swapped the shocks for Hagons, and added a Supeerbrace fork brace.  Now they have a Superbrace that's made for fork gaiters, which not only look retro-cool, but they keep the crud out of the fork seals!

If you look at horsepower and torque figures you will see the 270 is at lower rpm tan the 360,And the T-100 is the higher rpm figures. Go to Triumphs home page and you can see it all,I seen the page marine said and it says what he said, but I think its a mistake.
