Anyone ever use a sheepskin seat cover? Just curious if they add any comfyness for your bottom while on the stock seat.

I have an Alaskan Sheepskin. I like it and use it all the time. I think they make them with gel inserts now. Maybe I'll get a new one. Hmmmm

I have a fake sheepskin cover on mine that my buddies wife sewed for me... it secures with a drawstring...
Very comfy.... and warm in winter, cool in summer...

They say at Alaska Leathers, "adds 100 miles to the ride". True, from my experience. Good product that works and excellent service. The size for the Savage seat goes on sale occasionally and only costs about $20.

I use sheepskin cut from a car seat. It is made of pieces, but still works OK. Held on with a coated cable between front and back and little bungie cords on the sides.
Makes those rough roads easier on the ol' tail bone too.
The one in the picture has been in service for about 2 years. Getting a bit ratty.
Next one is going to be a full pelt.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

I haul a trash bag along to cover it up. Trash bag tucks under the bungi cords. Has it ever gotten wet? yes. and smells like a wet sheep when it does. Wash, let it dry, brush it up a bit.. all is good.

A lot of local motor cops here in Phoenix use them and they live in the saddle.
