Thanks for checking on me, I really appreciate it. Sorry I haven't checked in sooner. I also just changed jobs, and took a few days off between jobs, so I've been a little nutty, to say the least.

Mom is doing well, had her first chemo treatment on Monday and handled it very well. She will have 3 more over the next 2 months. I haven't been out there yet, I'll be going in a few weeks, but we are optimistic that it will work.

I'll try to check in more often, but thanks again for all the caring and prayers. Been staying in touch with prechermike, so he can also keep everyone updated when I can't.

Babyhog, Happy to hear your mom made it through the surgery and is tolerating the Chemo. As I'm sure you're well aware, she's not much older than half of the folks on this website, myself included. Positive thoughts and prayers to you and your mom.

Figured it was time for another update. This past Monday, my Mom had her 2nd treatment of chemo, 2 down, 2 to go. Second one went well too, not much nauseau. She said it made her tired and a little weak, but by Tuesday she was feeling much better. My sister from NYC was there with her for this treatment, and through the week, so all is well at this time.

My new job is still getting in the way of my ss.com time, but it will level out eventually, and I'll be back more often.

Finally got to ride to work a couple days, our weather had been rainy, or at least showers possible almost every day. I really need some saddle time to clear my brain.

I pray the rest of her chemo treatments go as
well as these first 2..
Living some distance from my own Mom, I know
how hard it is to not be able to be right there with
her.
Let her know many of us here care and are keeping
her in our prayers, special thoughts and sending her
many hugs.. Oh and you know how special you are
to us as well...
Take care and keep us updated as much as you can..

My Mom is 77 and fought breast cancer 2 years ago and so far she is winning. She's a tough little woman, she raised 6 ornery kids. She can actually get around better than I can now. I'll keep remembering your family in my prayers.
