There be truthiness in what clearush says. It's not bad but it s a creative effort. I did a five gallon Harley tank on mine. It involved rerouting wiring, moving all kinds of stuff under the tank and raising the front of the seat quite a bit if you're sticking with the stock chair.

Worth it? You bet. I can go a lot farther before needing to stop for gas, which if you're out in the boonies and it's two in the morning, is a good thing indeed.

Either get the POR15 stuff.....or the epoxy stuff from Caswell. Both of those products are far superior to the white acetone based stuff.

I just sanded it down today and used some jb-b water weld it says it is for gas tanks. I just finished the bondo and first coat of primer. I hope it works!
