"11 states working in conjunction with the U.S Department of Transportation (U.D.O.T) have agreed to implement an ordinance requiring motorcyclists to adhere to a mandatory curfew between the hours of 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM."
(South Dakota, Florida, Washington, Arkansas, California, New Hampshire, Indiana, Nevada, South Carolina, Utah, & Kentucky)

Actually, it did (does) exist in Massachusetts. A motorcycle "learner's permit" restricted you to daylight hours and solo riding.

same here, but if you don't get pulled over, no way they'd know.

It was that way on Missouri in the past and I can't believe it's changed. I'm pretty libertarian on personal responsibility laws but there are a few times when you have to save teenagers from themselves.

The awful thing i see is when i read about a fatality involving a middle age man crashing his Harley at 5 in the afternoon. Real story: he put on his pirate costume and went riding with his weekend buddies to the little bar and grill in a small town 40 miles away. Few beers, burger and fries and on way back home, rides off side of road and kills himself. Another 7 year old Harley with 5000 miles goes on Craigslist.....

Seriously, i read fatality accident reports and try to learn from them. I think we all pick up our own safety tips. I've never riden under the influence, not once. It's raining just a little today and I've got some place to go and could ride, but I'm not going to. It's good to ride in the rain now and then so when it does happen you're not freaked out, but I haven't been riding much because of winter so I'm not riding in the rain today. I rarely ride at night on two lane roads in the country, too many things could happen. I don't ride behind a vehicle if i cant see through his back window all the way through his windshield.
