The author assumes the left want impartial, honest application of the law based on what the Framers intended.

I (as one of your hated libs) agree that the left should give Gorsuch a fair hearing.  He is more than qualified for the job.

With that said - why didn't the repubs do the same for Garland?  They didn't even grant a hearing.

There was nearly 10 months left in Obama's term.

How can the repubs keep a straight face and ask the dems to be fair?

I don't support a filibuster of Gorsuch.  That would be childish.

Why did Harry Reid sit on legislation?
Why did he go nuclear?

There is your answer, not that you didn't already know......

Lets stop that crap, it will take ALL of us.

Remember, Trump really is the outsider, in that his own party faithful (who wouldn't give Garland a chance) didn't want Trump either....

That may have been true at the outset, but now they've swallowed him up to his taint... it's sickening.

They all bow to power - be it donors or whoever.  The only ones they ignore are the people they're supposed to represent.  That's true of repubs and dems both.

Yes, it will take time to change, however, he is breaking away on Russia, trade, and somewhat on immigration....
I will wait and see how it pans out, the press seems to be unhinged, mostly, bout time, they too are part of the so called swamp.
