Wars gets started this way, by people slagging each other while being utterly convinced they hold the only answer to the truth. I miss more objectivity and reduced slagging content. It is possible to be against Trump without name-calling og degrading remarks about the person, just as it is possible to be pro Trump without mocking former presidents.

Personally, I do not think it is relevant to compare Trump to Hitler. In fact, I think it is insulting and wrong. Trump does seem to prefer a more autocratic governing system than USA has been used to the way I see it, and it is also interesting to observe the way he seems to feel at home around Putin and Jong-un, two other highly autocratic figures. On the surface, that is scary, but perhaps Trump has a bigger plan that could end up with more openness and less chance of conflict. I am not holding my breath, but the way Trump change from one day to the next, there certainly is a possibility that he is working on a long term plan, even if it seems chaotic and whimsical at the moment.
